Drive Assist (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates two mobile applications: Drive Assist (for customers) and DA Partner (for driver partners). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our services.

1. Apps Covered by This Policy
Drive Assist (Customer App)
Used by customers to book drivers, manage trips, make payments, and communicate with driver partners.
DA Partner (Driver App)
Used by driver partners to receive trip requests, share location during rides, upload verification documents, and manage earnings.
2. Information We Collect
For All Users (Both Apps)
Account Information:
- Name, phone number, and email address
- Password (stored securely and encrypted)
- Profile photo (optional)
- Address details
Device Information:
- Device type and operating system
- App version
- Push notification token (to send you booking updates and important alerts)
Location Information:
- Customer App: Your location when you select “current location” for pickup, and during active trips to show your position and connect you with nearby drivers
- Driver App: Your location during active trips (including background location) to show your position to customers and support trip tracking
Usage Information:
- How you use our apps (to improve our services and fix issues)
- Trip history and booking details
Additional Information for Customers
Booking Details:
- Pickup and drop-off locations
- Trip date, time, and preferences
- Vehicle type selection
Payment Information:
- Payment method selection (online/cash)
- For online payments: We use Razorpay as our payment partner. We do not store your complete card details or UPI PIN. We only receive transaction IDs to confirm your payment.
Additional Information for Driver Partners
Professional Information:
- Preferred work locations
- Driving experience
- Vehicle details
Verification Documents:
- Driving license (front and back)
- Aadhaar card (front and back)
- PAN card (front and back)
- Bank account details (for payment processing)
- Police verification documents
- Cancelled cheque or bank proof
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Create and manage your account
- Verify your identity through OTP (One-Time Password) via SMS
- Connect customers with nearby drivers
- Calculate fares and process payments
- Track trips and share real-time location during rides
- Send notifications about bookings, trips, and important updates
- Verify driver eligibility and documents (for driver partners)
- Improve our services and fix technical issues
- Prevent fraud and ensure security
- Comply with legal requirements
- Send promotional offers (only if you’ve agreed to receive them)
4. Third-Party Services We Use

For Legal Reasons:
- When required by law or to protect rights, safety, and property
We do NOT:
- Sell or rent your personal information to third parties
- Share your data for advertising purposes

8. What We Don’t Collect
- IMEI or hardware identifiers for tracking purposes
- SMS or contacts (except for OTP verification if you permit it)
- Full credit card numbers (handled by our payment partner)
- Data from children under 13 years of age

We keep your information:
- As long as your account is active
- As needed to provide our services
- To comply with legal obligations
- To resolve disputes and enforce agreements
After account deletion, we will remove your personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.
10. Children’s Privacy
